Organization of German Zeolite Conference

It was an honor to co-host the 37th German Zeolite Conference with DECHEMA at Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Stuttgart, Germany together with Bettina Lotsch and Mika Linden. It was the first conference series I ever attended over a decade ago and its core focus on young researchers at PhD and even Master level motivated me to stick to science. I hope we lived up to that spirit with a fantastic program covering many aspects of various classes of porous solids and fantastic plenary lectures by Camille Petit, Dominik Eder, Dorothea Wisser and Wolfgang Schmidt and special sessions supported by Collaborative Research Center 1333 | University of Stuttgart and POLiS – Cluster of Excellence. As usual, we also had a great conference party and the walls of MPI FKF are still shaking a bit! I want to thank DECHEMA for their support in organizing the conference and all the sponsors. And lastly big thanks to all group members at Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Stuttgart, Germany and Universität Ulm for helping out and making this an unforgettable event – the tired eyes on the image below were worth it! – See you next year in Leipzig!
