I guess it’s a good time to share this image from last years “porous materials in energy science” conference that I had the pleasure to co-organize. Congrats to Susumu Kitagawa, Omar Yaghi, and Richard Robson for being awarded the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. I am still thrilled that I got to write this review with Susumu 5 years ago, and think it still carries many aspects that drive my interest in the field of MOFs: https://lnkd.in/e_r2X3YF
I is also a privilege to follow Susumu and Omar for many years and that my group gets the chance to interact with them on a frequent level.
Lets see what the future of MOF research will bring and what contributions we can make to this field of research.
